Learning Objectives
1.Demonstrate the appropriate application of current rejection-monitoring parameters for solid- organ-transplant dysfunction with an understanding of their efficacy and limitations.
2.Continue to examine new data on emerging acute-rejection biomarkers and the predictive accuracy of current biomarkers and when these may be integrated into current practice.
3.Utilize testing for biomarkers based on their specific value and timeliness in identifying T-cell mediated and antibody-mediated rejection and early subclinical acute rejection.
