You will learn about the ethical responsibilities of national, as well as community-based advocacy groups in relation to workers with disabilities, including the groups obligation to collaborate with businesses by setting up Disability Management Programs, for example, in order to make the Americans with Disabilities Act effective.
You will learn about key disability prevention and management components are essential to quality workplace programming.
You will learn how Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act impacts employers, particularly with respect to job analysis and accommodation.
You will learn that essential functions and the process that determines them, as well as job analysis, are the most important steps employers must take in their efforts to develop and maintain an effective approach to disability management in the workplace.
