Recognize laws of consent for Kansas and Missouri and discuss responding to disclosures using trauma informed consent approach.
Identify basic needs and how to support survivors.
Examine ways to better identify patients and families that may need resources for cognitive treatment
Describe modalities and treatments available to support improvement in cognitive function
Recognize that treatment plans for cognitive impairment pair well with treatment plans for cardiac and metabolic health rehabilitation
Interpret patient centered study outcomes relating to care delivery
Extrapolate the various desires reported by the participants and how these are or are not met in our own work.
Formulate ways this information can be weaved into our everyday work in patient care at a direct or indirect level.
