Learner will be able to identify at least 2 barriers to adequate pain relief at the end of life for the older adult
Learner will be able to describe at least 1 nonpharmacologic therapies used to relieve pain
Learner will be able to identify at least 2 common syndromes and symptoms necessitating palliative care approaches in the care of older adults
Learner will be able to describe advance directives and their role in preventing ethical dilemmas
Learner will be able to identify at least 1 issues related to decisional capacity and ethical dilemmas that may arise in geriatric palliative care
Learner will be able to describe at least 2 elements of cultural and spiritual assessment
