The attendee will be able to explain the role dementia plays in an individual's safe driving abilities
The attendee will be able to apply techniques to address the issue of cognitive decline with a client and/or their concerned family members
The attendee will be able to discuss and explain recent research findings on the issue of dementia and driving
The attendee will be able to articulate the dangers a decline in memory can play in overall driving safety (supported by current day, real-life examples).
