Rebecca Fisco, CDMS

Fisco provides leadership and strategic direction to The Ohio State University’s Integrated Disability and Absence Management team to reduce company risk, mitigate the financial exposure of disabilities in the workplace, and ensure regulatory compliance.

In prior roles as a disability management leader at Motorist Insurance Group and Amazon Disability and Leave Services, Fisco gained a broad understanding of the development, delivery, and oversight of multi-faceted disability and leave management programs.

Fisco is passionate about continuing education and professional development. She served as programming chair and President of the DMEC Ohio Chapter, sat on the Employer Advisory committee for the National DMEC organization, and currently serves in an editorial advisory capacity. She has been invited to speak at multiple national and international conferences.

Fisco has been an active volunteer in The Commission for many years, initially as part of the test development and role and function study committees, and now as a Commissioner and Chair-Elect. Fisco truly enjoys collaborating with other experts in the field to positively shape the current and future landscape of disability management programs.
