Learning Objectives
The registered nurse will be able to recognize the functions and layers of the skin and identify the phases of wound healing.
The registered nurse will be able to evaluate the appropriate modalities available to the patient and demonstrate the ability to analyze whether the patient would benefit from an advanced modality based on the medical indications provided.
The registered nurse will be able to identify the various types of wounds and discuss how to investigate advanced modalities that may shorten the length of wound healing and reduce insurance costs.
