Demonstrate the use of depression screening tools in the holistic assessment of patients in the rehabilitation setting (Beck Depression Inventory, Geriatric Depression Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire-9)
Initiate common interventions used to address depressive symptoms
Identify rehabilitation patients who may require referral for specialized treatment of depression
Demonstrate the use of anxiety screening tools in the holistic assessment of patients in the rehabilitation setting (Geriatric Anxiety Inventory, Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7, Primary Care PTSD Screen)
