Learning Objectives
As a result of completing this activity, learners will distinguish psychiatric and readjustment problems of OEF/OIF/OND veterans vs. the civilian population and identify basic treatment concerns and barriers for OEF/OIF veterans.
Learners will distinguish between cardiac causes of acute chest pain and a panic attack and other noncardiac causes of acute chest pain in emergent or urgent care settings based on the patients risk factors.
Learners will distinguish between impairment and disability to draw accurate conclusions and describe the purpose of disability evaluations.
Learners will formulate opinions regarding the applicability of the six statutory criteria for MDO status to individual inmate/patients.
