1. Apply new knowledge surrounding current cancer statistics and morbidity and mortality rates, correlations between cancer stage at time of diagnosis and health outcomes, and quality of life to reassess the effectiveness of my cancer-screening regimens for at-risk populations in my health care practice.
2. Strive to stay current with the development of MCED screening tests and be aware of when these tests may become applicable in my practice.
3. Formulate an approach to cancer screening that incorporates best practices and takes the patient’s personal health risks and environmental factors into account, regardless of the generally prescribed risks associated with characteristics such as age, sex, and identity within the population.
