Patrice V. Sminkey Memorial Foundation

The Commission for Case Manager Certification® is proud to present a memorial to our friend, colleague, and mentor Patrice V. Sminkey.  Patrice was committed to the advancement of the case management profession and dedicated to improving healthcare quality, safety and outcomes. In her role as a nurse and most recently in her role in the healthcare business world, she championed efforts to develop tools and resources for a prepared and ready workforce in order to promote, advance and advocate for quality case management. During her tenure as CEO, CCMC® expanded its outreach as a credentialing body by providing tools and resources to support professional case managers and those seeking certification.
