Jared Young, Psy.D., CAADC, LCSW, CCM

Through personal and observational experience I have learned firsthand the importance of case management, how it shapes delivery of care, and serves to improve health outcomes. Case management is an integral function of health care.

Young has over 20 years of clinical experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment, as well as behavioral health and physical health managed care. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Masters of Social Work from Temple University. Young is a Certified Advance Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Young is founder and practitioner of an outpatient behavioral health practice and is experienced in a range of diagnostic conditions. Young’s practice focus is in the treatment of depression, anxiety, pain management, couples, addictions, and personality disorders. Young’s professional background involves a variety of clinical, business, and case management roles.

Young’s volunteer service to The Commission has included activities related to the exam, and he previously served as a member of the Case Management Body of Knowledge (CMBOK) Editorial Board. Since being on The Commission board, he has served in a variety of leadership roles on various committees, including as a past Chair of the Commission. Currently, Young serves as a Commissioner and Treasurer for The Commission.
