What's New at CCMC

• The 2010 CCMC Call for Nominations is now open, for more information and to download an application, click here.
• The Commission for Case Manager Certification is a proven leader in the practice of ethical case management. The Code of Professional Conduct for Case Managers, adopted by CCMC, can be accessed here. Additionally, CCMC has developed a Continuing Education Module for all certificants who are interested in acquiring Ethics-related CEUs. To maintain the integrity of the product and to ensure that it is consistently up to date, the Ethics CE Module is currently unavailable. The revised version is expected to be released in April 2010. • CCMC attended a press conference launching CMSA’s Case Management Model Act of 2009 as a strategic opportunity to increase awareness of certification with media, healthcare and government officials who also attended.
  
  CCMC has provided comment to CMSA regarding the language in the proposed model act and has encouraged CMSA to include higher standards for case manager qualifications to ensure consumer protection. CCMC will continue to work collaboratively with CMSA to engage in further dialogue on this topic. Click here for CCMC’s comments on the Case Management Model Act.
