Learning Objectives
Attendees will learn how to deal with ethical dilemmas in workers' compensation claims, will learn updates on Case Law and updates to the 2025 rules of the WCA of NM and how they can apply to their daily work. Attendees will be able to recognize case law from specific cases that they can apply to their daily work and will benefit through increased knowledge of the law that applies to their everyday work.
Attendees will be able to recognize at least three common post-concussion syndrome symptoms that affect workplace recovery and claim outcomes.
Attendees will Identify ways post-concussion syndrome can resemble ADHD or Autism in medical documentation and why these matter for claims decisions
Attendees will be to identify, manage and prevent myofascial pain, ensuring faster recovery, reduced recurrence, and better outcomes for injured workers.
Attendees will be able to identify workplace risk factors for myofascial pain, develop diagnostic and treatment plans and implement ergonomic and preventative measures
Attendees will be able to identify barriers to effective communication between adjuster and the claimant.
Attendees will recognize and identify legislative changes and rule changes to the Workers Compensation Admiration.
Attendees will be able to identify and articulate the educational standards required for chiropractic physicians in the treatment of injured workers.
Participants will be able to analyze the cost drivers and outcomes associated with chiropractic treatment within the workers compensation system.
Participants will identify factors that influence the reliability and validity of FCE results , including examiner observations, and behavioral indicators
